Now I realise you may have stumbled across this site and wondering what the heck I am going on about so here's a brief history of the game for any one that needs it, if you are already a World of Warcraft addict (like so many of us!) then feel free to browse through the rest of the site and take a look at what interests you.

World of Warcraft (also known as WoW) isn't the first in the series of Blizzard Entertainment's Warcraft games, it is actually the 4th, but it may well be the only one you have heard about due to it's huge popularity and main stream appeal. The other 3 Warcraft games were top down strategy titles and World of Warcraft broke into the 3D free roaming world with this title based 4 years after Warcraft III.

Released on November 23. 2004, this Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (MMORPG) set in the world of Azeroth is enjoyed by millions of people online worldwide.

Each player creates a character in the game and builds them up, known as leveling, and completes quests in the game to gain rewards such as money,
items, experience and reputation.

These rewards can then be used to buy special items, weapons, clothing etc and can also be used to increase your skill sets and power which is essential to get further in the game as the quests and enemies become tougher and harder to beat.

The way your character builds is through levels (as mentioned before) and
when you reach a certain amount of experience points through questing and fighting your character will 'level up' and gain more hit points, be able to use
new items and various other rewards.

In World of Warcraft you move from level 1-60 but if you own the first
expansion for the game, Burning Crusade, then you can level to a maximum of 70 and if you also own the second expansion for WoW, Wrath of the Lich King, then you can get to the heady heights of level 80!

With so many levels to get through and so many quests and events along
